I Can Hear The Holiday Bells Ringing Now...

Ahhh....The Joys of Changing Weather

So lately postings, and all other forms of communicating have been somewhat on the sparse side and for that I apologize. I will spare you all the boring details and give you the Cliff Notes version of the past week (beginning with Sunday the 25th.)

Sunday
After a nice, relaxing visit with the family my sore throat develops into a nice giant, mucus-y cold/flu.

Monday
Boss from the North informs Tim and I that our services will no longer be needed at the Atlanta office as of Dec. 28th, which was expected (see previous entries) and went much better than we had suspected. We were actually relieved to finally get an end date and I probably would have been more upbeat about the whole thing had I not had a root canal directly after...which went pretty well too, for a root canal.

Tuesday & Wednesday
These two days are actually a little fuzzy due to all the cold/flu medication I was taking followed with fevers and lots of laying on the couch in an unmovable vegetative and congested state.

Thursday
Against my better judgment, I went for my final tattoo session. In the back of my mind somewhere, I'm sure willingly subjecting myself to a few hours of needles grinding into my back while still fighting off a cold, is listed as "Not Smart" but I was eager to get have it finished so I went anyway. I'll blame the decongestants on this one.

*On a side note, I'm not really one to complain about self-induced pain such as going to the dentist (the above mention not included), fantastic shoes that are 4" too tall, or Shoot 'Em Up (seriously, I knew better).....but a tattoo on the ribs? never again. not ever.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday
I spent the entire weekend in bed or on the couch recovering from Monday - Thursday.

The good news is I am finally starting to get better.
The bad news is that I now have an overwhelming addiction to House and believe the answer to everything is now Lupus.

I'm hoping this week goes better.
