Fraternal Instincts

Well, we did it. Allyson and I will finally finish work on our colaborative photography show this week! It's taken several months and a lot of editing our photos but we are finishing up the final details this weekend and will be hanging our work this week. (Insert Big Sigh Here). I have to say that as far as putting together an entire 22 photo show, things went remarkably smooth (knock on wood). I seriously could not have worked with a better person. Allyson is so easy to get along with and really made the experience that much better. Without her I would still have my head between my knees, breathing into a paper bag. Working with the right person is way better than working by myself. Just like Doing It.

Our show opens Sat. Oct. 4th and if you are going to be in the Atlanta area, head on over to Youngblood Gallery from 7-10 and say hello! If you can't make it because you happen to live in say, Brooklyn (Court, I'm talking to you! :) ) then have no fear, I will be posting the artwork online. Wish us luck!

Hi Andrea,
My name is Madison, I live in Atlanta, and I have a blog called Curio + Abyss. Anna from Youngblood emailed me yesterday about your show, so I quickly pulled together a blog post all about it. I wanted to make sure I got in touch with you somehow. You and Allyson are awesome! It was really fun to get to write about you guys and Youngblood and what you've done. Hope you like it. I'd be interested in adding a short interview with you, if you have the time.
